VOITED is proud to announce a stunning new limited edition blanket collaboration with photographer and marine scientist Oriana Poindexter and the non-profit organization Reef Check. The San Diego, California-based artist created a life-sized giant kelp cyanotype photogram, which was later printed on a REPREVE® Our OceanTM fabric blanket to raise awareness for Reef Check's vision for the long-term health of rocky reefs and kelp forests. The blanket is available as a Ripstop and CloudTouch® version in the US, the UK, and in Europe, with 2% of the purchase of each blanket directly supporting ReefCheck.org.

ABOUT REPREVE® Our OceanTM

The blanket "Kelp" is the first blanket release of a new series of VOITED products all made from REPREVE® Our OceanTM fabric. The fiber is sourced from plastic bottles at high risk of entering the ocean. The plastic bottles are collected by hand from areas within 30 miles/50km of coastlines that do not have a formal waste or recycling system.

FABRIC + TECHNOLOGY

Our three-layer sandwich construction features the innovative 3D Featherlight Fiber at its core, a breathable and warm micro-thermal fill insulation. Combined with our recycled Ripstop REPREVE® outer fabric with Bionic Finish®Eco Fluorine Free treatment, our outdoor throw blanket offers enhanced water and stain resistance. Together, the three layers provide improved rebound, lofty touch, and down-like warmth while allowing for easy machine washing. Once you experience its functionality, versatility, and durability, it will undoubtedly become your go-to accessory for all your outdoor adventures.

Warmth Rating: To be used for extra comfort during chilly evenings and cooler nights. Provides warmth up until around 13°C/55F* *Temperatures have been tested extensively, however the results remain subjective. Recommended lowest temperature.

The Ripstop Blanket is machine washable at 30ºC (86F). Please use minimal detergent and do not tumble dry.
